The animal living conditions were checked and Smith County Investigators were called. It was found that none of the dogs had received care of any kind for at least twelve hours. It was determined that the dogs were not receiving adequate care, food, or water. Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace James Meredith was notified and subsequently signed an animal seizure warrant.
