Houston hosts its third Super Bowl.

It’s not easy for a city to win the opportunity host a Super Bowl. More difficult still is to host the nation’s largest annual event in a memorable way.

Houston hosted Super Bowl VIII in 1974. It hosted Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004.

Neither effort received great reviews.

But Houston is out to redeem itself in hosting Super Bowl LI. Here’s a report on how they’re doing.
