Contractors were digging under a sidewalk to replace a gas line when the gas started leaking. The gas leak stopped when CenterPoint Energy shut off the gas. Before the gas was cut off, the area of Gentry at Martin Luther King was closed to east bound traffic as well as Gentry at Glenwood for west bound traffic.
