According to a press brief from the county on Wednesday, phone in comments had been allowed to the court over the last several months because of COVID-19. Online public participation forms may still be filled out online at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smith-county.com\/government\/elected-officials\/public-participation-form\" rel=\"nofollow\">https:\/\/www.smith-county.com\/government\/elected-officials\/public-participation-form<\/a> before the meeting, but the speaker must attend the meeting in-person. Limited seating for social distancing is available for meetings in the courtroom on the first floor of the Smith County Annex Building, on E. Beginning Thursday, Smith County will no longer post daily NET Health COVID-19 updates on its website and social media pages.
