\"\"TYLER — East Texas Christian Academy has made the decision to close their campus at the end of May. On Thursday Myron Bruce told KTBB, “Systematically over the course of the last 4 or 5 years our numbers have dropped and our numbers have been down considerably. Our fund-raising and gifts and contributions just were not coming through.” The ETCA President went on to say, “there are several good private and public schools in the area as well.” ETCA was founded 40 years ago when families had fewer choices for private education.
