TYLER — Smith County says 1,465 people cast their ballots in the county bringing the total number of early voters to 4,100. County officials say remind citizens that they can skip long lines on election day and vote vote early in the Primary Election. There is still a week of early voting left at five polling locations across Smith County.<\/p>\n
Those locations include: The Hub, 304 E. Ferguson in Tyler; The Heritage Building, 1900 Bellwood Road in Tyler; Noonday Community Center, 16662 County Road 196 in Tyler; First Methodist Church-Lindale, 402 W. Hubbard St. in Lindale; and the Whitehouse Municipal Court, 311 E. Main St. in Whitehouse. Early voting times are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. p.m. Saturday, February 22; noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 23; and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, February 24-28. <\/p>\n
There will be 35 Voting Centers for people to cast their ballots on Election Day, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 3. Smith County residents will be able to vote at any of the Voting Centers, no matter which precinct they live in.
