The meeting was hosted by Rep. Matt Schaefer, and attended by Sen. Bryan Hughes, Smith County Judge Moran, and Commissioner Jeff Warr. The meeting consisted of dialogue over concerns raised by numerous residents.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The concerns include health related issues, environmental impact, traffic, and quality of life. During the meeting, Tycon Ready Mix shared their plans to exceed environmental requirements, build a business that is good for the community, and that will benefit economic growth. Tycon Ready Mix agreed to pause the project while all parties consider options and evaluate potential solutions.
