According to our news partner KETK, festivities included past players and community leaders along with school officials that cut a ribbon to commemorate the new turf made possible by a donor. The celebration included the staple for any baseball related gala, hot dogs, as well as balloons, body art, and a bounce house for the kids. Brook Hill Athletic Director Wally Dawkins said, &#8220;This is just a huge event for us. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been waiting for this day for a long time. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re really glad it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s here.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ktbb.com\/post\/wp-content\/media\/2020\/02\/brook-hill-baseball-field.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-851993\" \/>The Head of Brook Hill School, Rod Fletcher said, &#8220;Baseball is already America\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s game.
