According to our news partner KETK, Sam&#8217;s Law is named for Samantha Watkins, a Kilgore high schooler who died in 2016 during a seizure. The law was introduced by Nacogdoches state Representative Travis Clardy. It will bring free courses to Texas schools, increasing training and awareness about the dangers of epileptic seizures that happen on campus.
