Earlier this month, the trustees selected TJC\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s President for Branch Locations &#038; District Provost, Dr. Juan E. Mejia, as the lone finalist for the post. The Board\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s decision comes after an extensive national search and thorough interview process. TJC received 83 applications. At Wednesday\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s meeting, now that the 21 day waiting period is over, the board will confirm Dr. Mejia as the school\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 7th president, effective July 1st. The board\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s agenda also call for consideration of extending current President Mike Metke\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s contract to June 30.
