Dr. Alexandria Phan has been appointed as medical director of the center. Dr. Phan is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. She has served as principal investigator in numerous clinical trials, many of which were pivotal in receiving FDA approval for new medications.  Prior to coming to Tyler, Dr. Phan led GI medical services for five regional locations of Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
