\"\"EAST TEXAS — At least three East Texas elections administrators have been named in voting lawsuits against Texas. According to our news partner KETK and the Longview News-Journal, Smith County’s Karen Nelson was issued a summons last week. It comes after the Texas secretary of state released a list claiming to include 95,000 non-citizens registered to vote. Critics now claim many of those names came from outdated information from DPS driver’s license records. Nelson is named in two lawsuits. The Harrison County elections administrator is named in one, but that position is vacant after the administrator’s recent resignation. Wood County Elections Administrator Laura Wise is also named in one of the suits.
