It happened just before 6:00 Wednesday evening on East End Boulevard South. The preliminary report says it was caused by a car which rear ended another vehicle. The car then entered the opposite lane of traffic where it was hit by a large truck. Both occupants in the passenger car were transported to Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center in Marshall where the passenger later died.
