Biology senior Alyssa Blanton of Whitehouse recently joined other science, technology, engineering and mathematics undergraduates in a three-week scientific computing skills internship. It is funded by the National Science Foundation\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation program, which is designed to prepare students from underrepresented populations for STEM careers.
