She is Mallori James, who starts her new duties on Monday. She will be responsible for the leadership of the Convention and Visitors Bureau, implementing a marketing strategy to attract tourists and enhancing nature, culture, and arts opportunities for the city. James is currently a marketing consultant for Brookshire Real Estate in Lufkin. She previously was employed as an events specialist with the City of Lewisville Convention and Visitors Bureau.
