According to our news partner KETK, once the pavement is completed, it will carry heavier aircraft, for a longer distance of 8,330 feet.  Airport Manager Davis Dickson says the total cost will be around $50 million &#8212; and with help from Federal Aviation Administration, 90 percent of the total amount will be paid for.
