Sentenced Monday to 25 years in prison was Taylor Nicole Skinner, 25, of Tyler. She was arrested last September in connection with the injuries received by her toddler a month earlier. The 15 month old child had been admitted to a Tyler hospital with severe injuries that were consistent with abuse. The child was later transferred to a Dallas hospital for surgery. Also charged in the case was Terral Deshon Carter, 27, of Tyler, the woman&#8217;s boyfriend.
