The school board met Monday to discuss the cost of changing the names of Tyler’s two main high schools. School board president Rev. Fritz Hager, Jr., said two trustees submitted a request to place changing Robert E. Lee’s name on the agenda for May. In a prepared statement, Hager said, “Per our board policy, I exercised my authority to delay the item until after school ended and graduation was complete.
