Palestine&#8217;s Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Tammy Jones, has been named to the position. She was selected from among 74 persons who applied for the job. Jones will start to work in Troup at the end of next month. She will succeed Stuart Bird, who has announced his retirement.
