KETK reports the pursuit started Friday morning from a local hotel. An officer had been searching for a suspect involved in a drug investigation. Police tried to pull the car over, but it took off. The driver eventually stopped and stepped out of the car; she was arrested. Police say Blagg, the passenger, went for his gun and was shot by an officer. Blag was taken to a Tyler hospital for a treatment for a life threatening injury.
