Because of the recent rains, the  lakes are currently at an elevation of 376.46 feet Mean Sea Level. The Spillway elevation is at 375.5 feet. Ramps were closed because of boating hazards resulting from debris washed into the lakes by the recent rains. They were also closed to reduce damage from erosion of the shoreline caused by boat wakes. In addition, the lakes are closed to boat traffic from lake residents.
