The decision to seek Division II membership was made after a nearly year-long study.  If the application is accepted for review, the NCAA is expected to make a decision on UT Tyler\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s application in July. If accepted into the Division II membership process, the school will enter a three-year provisional period during which the university will comply with Division II rules and regulations and implement Division II policies and procedures.  At the end of the period, the school&#8217;s progress will be reviewed, and UTT may be invited to be a Division II member.
