The state comptroller&#8217;s office is sending out $660.4 million in local sales tax allocations for October. This is nearly 2% percent more than last October. These allocations are based on sales made in August. Tyler&#8217;s allocation tops $3.4 million, which is over 9% above the same period last year. For the year, Tyler has received nearly $34 million, just over 4% more last year. Longview&#8217;s allocation for October is $2.4 million, an increase of over 7 1\/2%.
