A number of grants have already been accepted. Tyler Pounds Regional Airport has accepted a large grant from the Federal Aviation Administration for the rehabilitation of Runway 4\/22.  Tyler Transit applied for and accepted two grants to support the city\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s public transportation system. The city is also pursuing funding for the Police Department for deployment off-duty officers involved in traffic enforcement.
