\"\"LONGVIEW — Restaurant owner Dudley Lang, who was severely burned in a cooking explosion nearly a year ago, has reached a settlement with the manufacturers of an automatic pilot safety valve device blamed in the incident. KETK and the Longview News-Journal report Lang’s attorney reached an out-of-court settlement Aug. 31 with the Houston law firm that represented manufacturers Baso Gas Products LLC and Johnson Controls Inc. As a consequence, U.S. District Judge Rodney Gilstrap on Wednesday issued an order of dismissal. Terms of the agreement remain confidential, the attorneys said Monday.
