DPS says a preliminary report indicates that a truck-tractor driven by 63-yearold Junior E. Jones of Quitman was eastbound when it came upon a possibly disabled motorcycle. The motorcycle was standing in the middle of the right lane of traffic with its rider, Joel R. Choate.  The truck struck the motorcycle and Choate, who was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
