Both phases will include adding pavement to the existing roadway to create a four-foot flush median between travel lanes, repaving with new asphalt, adding rumble strips, restriping, adding reflectors, and additional signage. Segment 3B (from SH 31 to I-20) is being widened by four feet.  Work has already started, and it&#8217;s expected to be done by the end of this year. The second phase involves 15 miles of Toll 49, from SH 32 to SH 110.
