The Small Business Administration has announced the loans are in response to a request SBA received from Governor Greg Abbott on June 28. The disaster declaration makes SBA assistance available in Gregg, Harrison, Rusk, Smith and Upshur counties. The low-interest federal disaster loans are available to businesses of all sizes, most private nonprofit organizations, homeowners and renters whose property was damaged or destroyed by late May storms. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>SBA representatives will be on hand at the following Disaster Loan Outreach Center to answer questions about SBA\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s disaster loan program, explain the application process and help each individual complete their application. No appointment is necessary.<\/p>\n<p>GREGG COUNTY<br \/>\nDisaster Loan Outreach Center<br \/>\nMaude Cobb Convention &#038; Activity Center<br \/>\n100 Grand Boulevard, Longview<\/p>\n<p>Open July 6 to July 17<br \/>\nMonday-Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm<br \/>\nCenter closes 1:00pm Tuesday, July 18<\/p>\n<p>Businesses of all sizes and private nonprofit organizations may borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory and other business assets.
