KETK reports that according to the sheriff&#8217;s office, Robert Fitch managed to keep the suspect at bay until officials could arrive on scene. Fitch was not injured. The suspect was booked into the Smith County Jail on a charge of burglary of a habitation. He has been identified as Paul Brent Hopkins, 38, of Tyler.
