The accident occurred around 8:30 Monday night off Farm Road 2782, southwest of Nacogdoches. Killed was Rubio Munoz Rene, 39, of Center. He worked for a subcontractor of Pilgrims Poultry that was catching chickens at a local chicken farm. He was riding on the folk lift when it came to a stop. The victim slid down the side of the fork lift and underneath the front tires. The operator didn&#8217;t see him fall, and thought he had jumped off  and went back to his work area. The fork lift operator then backed up over the victim. He died at a Nacogdoches hospital.
