The plane went down around 4:15 Tuesday afternoon on County Road 497 just off Farm Road 13 near the town of Price.  The plane appears to have clipped a guide wire on a cellular tower and crashed into some trees. The Cessna 177 then caught fire. The pilot, the only person on board, was killed. He was identified as Cody Stewart of Oklahoma. The FAA said the aircraft was used for pipeline patrol.
