\"\"<\/a>SMITH COUNTY — Two people are in custody, a third is being questioned and one person is dead following an armed robbery that turned deadly early Saturday morning. Lamarcus Hannah, 32 and Demeon Mosley, 26, were arrested in connection with the death of Billy Stacks, 62. According to the Smith County Sheriff’s Office, early Saturday morning, a masked man came into the Conoco gas station on Loop 323. Security footage shows the man jumping over the counter and pointing a gun at Stacks. Deputies said Stacks was shot twice during a struggle between the two. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and died early Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

After the robbery, the masked man ran from the gas station and later got into a vehicle which authorities pursued. During the chase, one suspect got out of the vehicle and ran into a wooded area around Texas Hwy 155 and I-20. The driver of the vehicle continued down Highway 155. Smith County Deputies set up a perimeter around the wooded area. DPS helicopters and K-9 units were also called to the scene. The vehicle was later discovered on FM 2015 at CR 334. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Around 10:30 Saturday night, arrest warrants were issued by Smith County Court at Law Judge Randall Rogers charging Lamarcus Hannah, 32, and Dameon Jamrc Mosley, 26, both of Tyler, with aggravated robbery, later to be upgraded to capital murder. Shortly after the issuance of the arrest warrants, Lamarcus Hannah (pictured) was taken into custody at the Smith County Sheriff\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Office where he was being interviewed prior to the issuance of the warrants. He was booked into the Smith County Jail with bond set at one million dollars.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The second suspect, Dameon Mosley, was taken into custody in Dallas Sunday by Smith County Sheriff’s Office Detectives and members of the Dallas Police Department. He appeared before a Dallas County Magistrate before he was taken to the Smith County Jail. <\/p>\n

Smith County Sheriff Larry Smith said both suspects are in the county jail, each under a $1 million bond. Both have been charged with aggravated robbery. And Sheriff Smith said he expects the district attorney will take the case before the grand jury, asking that the suspects be indicted for capital murder. <\/p>\n

In a news conference Monday afternoon, Sheriff Smith said he expects the suspects will will also be suspects in some other area robberies. He told reporters he expects the Dollar General robberies to decrease by $100%.<\/p>\n
