According to KETK, judicial records indicate Gustavo Zavala-Garcia, 24, of Bullard, was indicted by a Smith County Grand Jury January 23.  Last November, Kayla disappeared from a Bullard church during worship. Her body was found days later inside a well on the suspect&#8217;s property.<!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>A witness said they saw Zavala with Kayla shortly before her disappearance, according to an arrest affidavit. Family members said Zavala is a cousin who &#8220;acted like an uncle to Kayla.&#8221; A capital murder warrant for the arrest of Zavala was signed by Judge Jack Skeen on November 6. Zavala is being held on $10 million bond. A trial date has not yet been set.
