Around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, a sheriff&#8217;s deputy attempted a traffic stop near the intersection of FM 344 and FM 2493 after dispatch received a call from a citizen reporting a suspicious vehicle in her driveway.  Dispatch also advised that the vehicle had pulled out of the driveway and into the roadway in front of several cars and was traveling eastbound on FM 344.<!--more-->      <\/p>\n<p>Deputy J. Eakin headed toward the intersection of FM 344 and FM 346 in an attempt to cut off the suspect vehicle.  Bullard PD advised that they had located the suspect\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s vehicle and had attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The deputy joined Bullard PD on FM 344 and the pursuit continued.  The sheriff\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s office reports it observed the suspect driving very erratically and crossing into all lanes of traffic, narrowly missing an oncoming vehicle.  As the suspect neared Hwy 155, additional deputies joined the pursuit attempting to block the suspect to slow him down, according to the sheriff&#8217;s office.  <\/p>\n<p>The pursuit continued north on Hwy 155 past Loop 49 and the suspect pulled into the driveway of a residence.  Deputies blocked the suspect\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s vehicle in the driveway and officials say it appeared that the suspect was going to try and drive into the house.  Fearing that someone in the house would get injured, Deputy Eakin fired shots in an attempt to flatten the tires on the suspect\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s truck.   The truck finally came to a stop and the officers began to make verbal commands to the suspect.  The suspect then opened the driver\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s side door and Deputy Eakin was able to take the 52-year-old Dusty Moore into custody.<\/p>\n<p>Moore was booked into the Smith County Jail on charges of DWI 2nd, Evading Arrest\/Detention w\/vehicle, and Resisting Arrest.  Moore remains in jail and bond has been set at $13,500.
