Killed in the accident on Gilmer Road around 12:15 Wednesday afternoon was Brett Alan Crump, 31, of Longview. Longview police say Crump was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. The accident occurred when the pickup, driven by Eugene Allen Jones, 47, of Longview, attempted to make a left turn onto Wain Drive, and was hit by the motorcycle.
