PITTSBURG – Earlier this week, an environmental group claimed that Pilgrim’s Pride is one of the biggest water polluters in Texas. According to Environment Texas, the two chicken processing plants operated by Pilgrim’s Pride and Sanderson Farms are responsible for 20 per cent of the state’s water pollution. Now East Texas-based Pilgrim’s Pride says that’s not true.
