The Texas Education Agency on Monday announced the financial accountability ratings for 2015-2016. The numbers involve more than 1,200 school districts and charters. All of the public school districts in Smith and Gregg counties appear on the list with a superior rating. The ratings are based on annual financial reports provided to TEA for the 2015 fiscal year.
