A jailer was going through rounds around 6 p.m. Thursday and found the inmate in \u00e2\u20ac\u0153a state of distress,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d according to information released today by the Upshur County Sheriff\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Office. The jailer called for other jailers and medical staff and first responders were called.
