The 2016 preliminary fall headcount is 9,889, a 12 percent increase over the 2015 preliminary enrollment. UTT President Dr. Rodney Mabry calls the increase &#8220;another amazing milestone in UT Tyler\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s history.&#8221; Mabry, who plans to retire in December, has been a driving force behind the growth of the university, according to a UTT news release. Meanwhile, preliminary fall enrollment for The UT Tyler Longview University Center increased by 33 percent from last fall to 208 students, Dr. Van Patterson, LUC director, announced.
