Acting on a tip, the marijuana plants were found off Highway 287 between Palestine and Elkhart. The nearly 4,000 plants were about six feet tall and appeared to have been growing for several months. And like the field found in Smith County, the Anderson County field also had an irrigation system, diverting water from a nearby creek. And the southern Anderson County field had a campsite, just like the one in Smith County.
