She was told to cash the check and go to a local merchant and fill out a survey. When the survey was completed, they were told to send them back a check for a large amount of the money and to keep the smaller amount as their payment. The lady was smart and didn&#8217;t fall for the scam. Longview police remind you, to be watchful for any offer that seems &#8220;too good to be true&#8221;.
