According to the DPS report, the two-vehicle crash happened around 2:30 on Hwy 155, two miles south of Tyler. Investigators said a 1999 Chevrolet was attempting to turn into a private drive when it was struck by a 2004 Chevrolet.  The driver of the  1999 Chevrolet has been identified as Melissa Baker, 35, Frankston.  Baker was taken to ETMC-Tyler in serious condition.  A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Th Gerbig, 16, Frankston, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
