Owen, who was 81, died early Thursday morning at Hospice of East Texas. In 2010, to celebrate their 55 wedding anniversary, Owen and his wife, Peaches, donated $18 million dollars to CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler to help build a &#8220;state of the art&#8221; heart hospital. The heart hospital bears their names.
