These schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, equipment failure or other unforeseen issues.  In Tyler, US 271 will be closed from Oakwood Street to Spur 147 from July 21 to July 24 for pavement repairs. Motorists will have to use temporary detours to get around the closure. Message boards are in place to alert traffic to this upcoming change along the project limits. Additional project information is available in the Smith County section of this story. <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>In Cherokee County, two county roads are scheduled to close for bridge replacement projects. On Thursday, July 21, County Road (CR) 2303 at One Eye Creek south of Rusk will close to traffic. The following week on Wednesday, July 27, CR 1707 at One Arm Creek west of Rusk will close. Both roads will be closed for several months requiring motorists to use other routes to reach their destinations. More information is available in the Cherokee County section of this story.<\/p>\n<p>SMITH COUNTY \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Tyler Maintenance continues overlay and edge work on FM 2710 throughout the week. Expect lane closures with flaggers providing traffic control at all locations. State park maintenance will also be performed in the county.<\/p>\n<p>Smith County construction projects updates:<\/p>\n<p>Loop 323 West Widening at UPRR Underpass<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Limits: Tyler\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s West Loop and SH 31<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Contractor: Longview Bridge and Road, Ltd., of Longview<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Cost: $12 million<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Anticipated Completion Date: Winter 2016<\/p>\n<p>The contractor is reconstructing the existing northbound lanes as well as conducting work on the new railroad bridge and Bellwood Road West. A temporary detour is in place. The project includes widening Loop 323 from SH 31 to Shaw Street. The speed limit on Loop 323 in the work zone has been reduced to 45 mph from SH 64 to Shaw Street.<\/p>\n<p>SH 31E Widening Project<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Limits: From FM 757 to FM 2012<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Contractor: Reynolds &#038; Kay, LTD<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Cost: $7.8 million<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2017<\/p>\n<p>Work continues on the eastbound passing lanes. Expect lane closures on this project designed to add passing lanes for multiple sections of roadway in both the eastbound and westbound directions. Once the widening is complete, a seal coat and final surface will be applied. A daily construction speed limit of 60 mph is in place when work is being performed.<\/p>\n<p>SH 64<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Limits: from Chapel Hill to Arp<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Contractor: Drewery Construction of Nacogdoches<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Cost: $3.9 million<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2016<\/p>\n<p>Drainage work continues on this project to add passing lanes between FM 2607 and Arp. Expect lane closures.<\/p>\n<p>FM 1253 Widening Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From County Road 462 south, 1.3 miles north of FM 857 south to FM 1805; FM 1804 from Wood County line to US 69; FM 2015 from CR 313 to FM 16<br \/>\n    Contractor: Longview Bridge and Road, Ltd., of Longview<br \/>\n    Cost: $7.5 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Fall 2016<\/p>\n<p>No work or lane closures planned for FM 1253. Work continues on FM 1804 at the Sabine River Bridge as does drainage work on FM 2015. Expect lane closures. This contract consists of widening, sealing and resurfacing all three roadways.<\/p>\n<p>Spur 164 Bridge Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From just south of the railroad tracks at Indian Creek in Tyler<br \/>\n    Contractor: L.C. Jordan and Sons of Lufkin<br \/>\n    Cost: $324,059.81<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2016<\/p>\n<p>Work continues to replace the box culvert at this location. The roadway will remain closed to through traffic with an anticipated opening soon. Motorists must use alternate routes to reach their destinations during this project.<\/p>\n<p>Spur 248 Widening Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From 1.75 miles west of FM 848\/Old Omen Road going east to SH 64 southeast of Tyler<br \/>\n    Contractor: Lonestar Equipment Company, Inc.<br \/>\n    Cost: $8.6 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2018<\/p>\n<p>Culvert work continues in preparation of moving traffic. Expect lane closures. The speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph during construction. This project will widen Spur 248 from two lanes to a four-lane divided roadway with flush median.<\/p>\n<p>County Road Bridge Replacement Projects<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7       Limits: CR 4129 at Mud Creek near Lindale; CR 3104 at Prairie Creek north of FM 1252 near Winona; and CR 2138 at Blackhawk Creek south of Whitehouse<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7       Contractor: Pierce Construction<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7       Cost: $947,000.00<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7       Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2017<\/p>\n<p>County Roads (CR) 3104 and CR 4129 are currently closed as work to build new bridges and approaches progresses. Each road will be closed for about six months.<\/p>\n<p>US 271 Repairs and Resurfacing Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From FM 2015 southward to Oakwood Street\/Spur 147 in Tyler<br \/>\n    Contractor: Reynolds &#038; Kay<br \/>\n    Cost: $4.3 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Fall 2016<\/p>\n<p>Pavement repairs are underway north of Spur 147. Expect lane closures. Additionally, US 271 from Oakwood Street to Spur 147 is tentatively scheduled to close July 21-24 for pavement repairs on this 4.5-mile project to repair and resurface the roadway. Detours will be in place to guide traffic through the work zone.<\/p>\n<p>I-20 Resurfacing Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: Eastbound lanes from FM 14 eastward to US 271<br \/>\n    Contractor: Clark Construction<br \/>\n    Cost: $2 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Fall 2016<\/p>\n<p>Work is underway with the contractor placing the PFC surface starting Monday on this project to resurface a 4.8-mile stretch of I-20. Expect lane closures. <\/p>\n<p>GREGG COUNTY \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Longview Maintenance plans to conduct base repairs on FM 3272 between US 80 and FM 2275. Additionally, crews will resume base repair work on SH 135 around the Traffic Circle in Kilgore. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible to avoid delays at both locations. Expect lane closures with the travel lanes reduced and flaggers directing traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Gregg County construction projects updates:<\/p>\n<p>FM 2275 George Richey Extension (Segment I)<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: McCann Road west to SH 300 (Gilmer Road)<br \/>\n    Contractor: East Texas Bridge, Inc.<br \/>\n    Cost: $12.4 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Fall 2017<\/p>\n<p>McCann Road remains closed as the contractor builds tie-ins to the new intersection. The closure runs from just north of Graystone Road to about 200 feet north of the new road. No through traffic is allowed at this location but northbound and southbound traffic does have access on McCann Road north of the intersection. Residents can travel southward from FM 1844 to the new George Richey Road but cannot cross. Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid delays. Meanwhile, the contractor is hauling embankment as utility relocation and clearing of right of way activities continue on this new roadway construction to connect Gilmer and McCann roads.<\/p>\n<p>This Segment I project includes constructing two bridges and a four-lane roadway with center left turn lanes from McCann Road to SH 300\/Gilmer Road. Excavation, embankment, bridge construction, subgrade treatment, storm drains, hot mix asphalt, curb and gutter and sidewalk are all part of the new construction.<\/p>\n<p>FM 2275 George Richey Extension (Segments II &#038; III)<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Limits: McCann Road to US 259<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Contractor: East Texas Bridge, Inc.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Cost: $12.8 million<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Anticipated Completion Date: Late Summer 2016<\/p>\n<p>The outside southbound lane of Judson Road remains closed as the contractor makes tie-ins to the new FM 2275. Paving operations continue along with construction of curb and gutter, and sidewalk, between US 259 and McCann Road. Between Judson and US 259, construction continues with hot mix asphalt, curb and gutter, sidewalk and storm drain work. This project is constructing a new roadway from McCann Road to US 259. Motorists must use other routes to get around Airline Road which remains closed through July 2016.<\/p>\n<p>FM 449<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: US 259 to FM 2751<br \/>\n    Contractor: Madden Contracting Company, LLC<br \/>\n    Cost: $607,133.00<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Late Summer 2016<\/p>\n<p>Crews will be installing new signage on this project where the contractor is widening the road two feet on each side and applying an overlay.<\/p>\n<p>Loop 281 at FM 2087 Overpass<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Limits: SH 31 to approximately one mile south of SH 31<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Contractor: Longview Bridge and Road, Ltd., of Longview.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Cost: $13.2 million<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Anticipated Completion Date: Late Fall 2016<\/p>\n<p>The contractor continues construction on the concrete paving at the south end of the bridge and at the new SH 31 intersection on this project that is building a new overpass over the railroad crossing. Expect delays during the peak evening hours.<\/p>\n<p>ANDERSON COUNTY \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Palestine Maintenance plans to conduct overlay work on SH 294 between US 287 and US 79. Once completed at this location, the operation moves to US 287N. Expect lane closures.<\/p>\n<p>Anderson County construction projects updates:<\/p>\n<p>US 79 New Lane Construction Project<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Limits: 1.6 miles southwest of Loop 256 in Palestine south to the Trinity River<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Contractor: Longview Bridge and Road, Ltd., of Longview.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Cost: $42.7 million<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Anticipated Completion Date: End of 2016<\/p>\n<p>On this project, work currently centers on the area from CR 2205 to just south of FM 645. The contractor is working on detours in the area of FM 645 at Tucker. This project expands a 5.3 mile section of US 79 from two lanes to a four-lane divided highway with a continuous left turn lane and a depressed median. Work started in November 2012.<\/p>\n<p>SH 19 Widening<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: 3.6 miles north of FM 837 (Henderson Co. line) south to .4 mile north of FM 321 at Montalba<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Contractor: Big Creek Construction of Hewitt<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Cost: $12.5 million<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2017<\/p>\n<p>Utility work continues along the right of way where this roadway is being widened. <\/p>\n<p>Off-System Bridge Replacement Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: County Road (CR) 471 at Box Creek; CR 4801 at Indian Creek; CR 1231 at Stills Creek<br \/>\n    Contractor: Longview Bridge and Road, Ltd., of Longview<br \/>\n    Cost: $817,412.15<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Fall 2016<\/p>\n<p>County Road 1231 at Stills Creek is closed to traffic for this bridge replacement project. Detours are in place. The new bridges at Box Creek and Indian Creek are open to traffic with the contractor continuing closeout activities.<\/p>\n<p>CHEROKEE COUNTY \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Jacksonville and Rusk crews continue to conduct base repairs on roads in both areas. In Jacksonville, work returns to FM 2274 between US 79 and FM 856 as well as on FM 2064 between SH 135 and FM 2750. Meanwhile, in Rusk, base repair work is planned for US 84 between US 69 and SH 110, FM 343 east of US 69, and on SH 21W at the Neches River. Expect lane closures with flaggers providing traffic control. <\/p>\n<p>Cherokee County construction projects updates:<\/p>\n<p>US 69 Widening and Resurfacing<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From Loop 456 in Jacksonville going south to just north of Loop 62 in Rusk<br \/>\n    Contractor: Madden Contracting Company, LLC<br \/>\n    Cost: $11 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2016<\/p>\n<p>The contractor will start placing the PFC surface on this project to widen US 69 by adding 2\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 edge treatment and resurface the road. Expect lane closures.<\/p>\n<p>US 69 Widening and Resurfacing<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From 0.028 mile south of FM 343 in Rusk southward to just north of SH 21 in Alto<br \/>\n    Contractor: Madden Contracting Company, LLC<br \/>\n    Cost: $9.3 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Fall 2016<\/p>\n<p>No work is scheduled on this project to widen and resurface US 69.<\/p>\n<p>US 69 Widening and Resurfacing<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From .37 miles north of FM 344 to .02 miles north of FM 347<br \/>\n    Contractor: Madden Contracting Company, LLC<br \/>\n    Cost: $5.6 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2016<\/p>\n<p>The contractor plans to place permanent striping on this project to widen and resurface this portion of US 69.<\/p>\n<p>US 79 Repairs and Resurfacing Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From SH 204 to Mud Creek<br \/>\n    Contractor: Reynolds &#038; Kay<br \/>\n    Cost: $5.7 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2017<\/p>\n<p>This portion of US 79 is being repaired and resurfaced. The contractor is preparing to move traffic to the new temporary detour starting Tuesday. All traffic will be shifted to the eastbound lanes to allow the contractor to start work on the westbound lanes on Thursday. Motorists are encouraged to avoid this location when possible to avoid delays. Expect lane closures.<\/p>\n<p>FM 22 and FM 23 Widening Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From US 69 south of Jacksonville going SW to 1.5 miles west of FM 768 (Gallatin area); FM 23 from FM 343 to FM 1857<br \/>\n    Contractor: Madden Contracting Company, LLC<br \/>\n    Cost: $8.5 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Fall 2016<\/p>\n<p>The contractor plans to resume placing seal coat on FM 23. Expect lane closures. These are safety projects designed to widen the roadways from 20\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 to 24\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 along a 4.2-mile section.<\/p>\n<p>County Road Bridge Replacement Projects<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: CR 1707 at One Arm Creek west of Rusk between FM 347 and FM 2138 and CR 2303 at One Eye Creek south of Rusk between FM 23 and FM 752<br \/>\n    Contractor: Stateline Construction<br \/>\n    Cost: $699,993.90<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Winter 2016<\/p>\n<p>Work on CR 2303 is scheduled to start on July 21, 2016. Message boards are in place to notify motorists of the upcoming closure. CR 1707 is scheduled to close on July 27, 2016. Both roads will be closed for about six months.<\/p>\n<p>HENDERSON COUNTY \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Athens Maintenance plans to conduct seal coat work on FM 1615 from SH 19 to the end of state maintenance. Expect lane closures with flaggers directing traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Henderson County construction projects updates:<\/p>\n<p>FM 317 Repair Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: At Athens Fish and Game Lake Dam<br \/>\n    Contractor: Fritcher Construction<br \/>\n    Cost: $446,216.00<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Late Summer 2016<\/p>\n<p>Work to repair this roadway started in May and continues on schedule. The road closed in March 2015 due to a flood-related washout about three miles east of SH 31. Repairs are expected to be completed later this summer, weather permitting. The plans for the permanent repairs have been coordinated with the Corp of Engineers and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).<\/p>\n<p>US 175 Widening Project (Phase I)<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: 0.1 miles southeast of FM 804 near Baxter southeast to 1.1 miles east of Loop 60E at Larue<br \/>\n    Contractor: A.L. Helmcamp, Inc. and Big Creek Construction<br \/>\n    Cost: $39.2 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: November 2018<\/p>\n<p>The eastern portion of Loop 60 is closed through the summer for construction of the new westbound mainlanes on this project that expands US 175 from two lanes to a four-lane divided with a depressed median. Drivers should expect one lane carrying two-way traffic throughout the project limits as well as occasional day time lane closures. Drivers on adjacent county roads and FM 804 should anticipate a change in traffic flow due to the detour now requiring two-way traffic on US 175. Dirt and drainage work around Loop 60E in Larue to near Baxter is ongoing. The speed limit in the construction zone has been set at 55 mph so slow down because traffic fines double when workers are present. Phase I construction started April 6, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>US 175 Widening Project (Phase II)<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: 1.1 miles east of Loop 60B at LaRue to 0.85 mile east of FM 315 at Poynor<br \/>\n    Contractor: Sundt Construction, Inc., of San Antonio<br \/>\n    Cost: $37.8 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Late Summer 2017<\/p>\n<p>The contractor continues dirt work around FM 315 south of Poynor as well as drainage work throughout the project. As part of the new highway construction, a short stretch of CR 4401 has been permanently closed from the intersection of US 175\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s new eastbound lanes to the new right of way. The rest of CR 4401 remains open with access from CR 4345\/Camp Road.<\/p>\n<p>This Phase II project will expand US 175 from two lanes to a four-lane divided with a depressed median. Drivers should anticipate two-way traffic throughout the project limits which stretch 4.7 miles ending just east of FM 315 in Poynor. The speed limit has been set at 55 mph. A portion of this phase is being built on new location around the south side of Poynor. This like Phase I, is a mobility project to add capacity and improve safety, and includes adding one lane in each direction.<\/p>\n<p>US 175 Widening Project (Phase III)<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: 0.85 miles east of FM 315 in Poynor, southeast to .5 miles NW of SH 155 at Frankston<br \/>\n    Contractor: A.L. Helmcamp, Inc.<br \/>\n    Cost: $27.6 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Spring 2019<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, the contractor expects to begin clearing right of way near the Poynor city limits. Additionally, earthwork operations continue from the city limits to County Road (CR) 303 as does the installation of drainage culverts west of CR 303. Expect daily lane closures. This project is expanding US 175 from two lanes to a four-lane divided highway with a depressed median.<\/p>\n<p>FM 315\/FM 1616 Widening Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From FM 314S to CS End at County Road 4325, 4224, etc.<br \/>\n    Contractor: Big Creek Construction, LTD, of Hewitt, Texas<br \/>\n    Cost: $3.07 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Late Summer 2016<\/p>\n<p>The construction widening project is ongoing with work to extend the cross structures. One-way traffic can be expected throughout the project limits with daily lane closures. FM 1616 is expected to be completed this summer. Final work is being performed on FM 315.<\/p>\n<p>SH 31 Bridge Painting Project \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Westbound at Trinity River\/Eastbound at Cedar Creek<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From just east of Cedar Creek to just west of the Trinity River<br \/>\n    Contractor: Olympus Painting Contractors Inc., of Clearwater, Florida<br \/>\n    Cost: $2.3 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2016<\/p>\n<p>All westbound lanes are now open to traffic as the contractor continues to seal the bridge deck joints along with applying permanent striping on the Trinity River Bridge which necessitates daily lane closures. Daily closures of the eastbound lanes is also required at the Cedar Creek Bridge where work to repair cracks on the bridge deck is ongoing. <\/p>\n<p>RUSK COUNTY \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Henderson Maintenance plans to continue milling operations on SH 64 between Loop 571 and SH 42. Base repair work will be conducted on FM 1513 from SH 323 to FM 850. Expect the roads to be reduced to one lane carrying two-way traffic with flaggers directing traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Rusk County construction projects updates:<\/p>\n<p>US 259 South Project <\/p>\n<p>    Limits: Southbound lanes from 0.4 miles S of US 79 in Henderson south to 0.4 miles N of FM 1798<\/p>\n<p>    Contractor: Madden Contracting Company, LLC<br \/>\n    Cost: $5.7 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2016<\/p>\n<p>The contractor is working on miscellaneous cleanup activities this week. The 10.13-mile project includes base repair work, mill and inlay of the asphalt surface, placing a PFC overlay, and upgrading pavement markings.<\/p>\n<p>US 79 South Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From Loop 571 in Henderson going southwest for 3.0 miles to FM 839<br \/>\n    Contractor: Drewery Construction Co., Inc.<br \/>\n    Cost:  $6.7 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2017<\/p>\n<p>The contractor continues widening operations on this portion of US 79. Expect lane closures and delays with one-way traffic control. Flaggers and a pilot car will guide traffic through the work zone. Work continues to place embankment on the widened edges. The posted speed limit has been reduced to 60 mph throughout this work zone and is being enforced by DPS. The project consists of placing an asphalt overlay on the roadway.<\/p>\n<p>SH 43 Overlay Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From four miles south of FM 2658 to FM 3231<br \/>\n    Contractor: Madden Contracting Company, LLC<br \/>\n    Cost: $4.6 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Fall 2016<\/p>\n<p>The project consists of placing an asphalt overlay on the roadway, base repairs, and new metal beam guard fence. The contractor will be patching base failures this week. Expect lane closures with two-way traffic control with flaggers and a pilot car.<\/p>\n<p>VAN ZANDT COUNTY \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Canton crews plan to continue base repairs and sealing operations on FM 1861 this week between FM 47 and SH 198. Base repair work is also planned for FM 316 between FM 3080 and FM 1256. Expect lane closures with flaggers directing traffic through the work zones.<\/p>\n<p>Van Zandt County construction projects updates:<\/p>\n<p>SH 64 Widening Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From FM 858 near Ben Wheeler to FM 314<br \/>\n    Contractor: A.L. Helmcamp, Inc., of Buffalo<br \/>\n    Cost: $7.4 million<\/p>\n<p>This job is nearing completion with the contractor working on final closeout activities. The newly added passing lanes are open to traffic and the project is expected to be completed soon. The project will improve safety and mobility for traffic on SH 64. <\/p>\n<p>SH 198 Widening Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: from SH 243 in Canton southwest to 0.4 miles northeast of FM 316 near Phalba<br \/>\n    Contractor: Big Creek Construction, Ltd., of Waco<br \/>\n    Cost: $5 million<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Fall 2016<\/p>\n<p>Work continues to extend the cross structures along this roadway as does backfilling of pavement edges on this widening project. Expect lane closures.<\/p>\n<p>FM 316 Widening Project<\/p>\n<p>    Limits: From FM 1256 south to FM 3080<br \/>\n    Contractor: Big Creek Construction, Ltd., of Hewitt<br \/>\n    Cost: $255,474.00<br \/>\n    Anticipated Completion Date: Fall 2016<\/p>\n<p>The contractor continues to backfill around structures and pavement edges on this widening project which also includes installing safety end treatments and advance warning signs. Expect lane closures.<\/p>\n<p>FM 314 Widening Project<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Limits: from I-20 to the Van Zandt\/Henderson County line<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Contractor: A.L. Helmcamp, Inc., of Buffalo<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Cost: $11.9 million<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2018<\/p>\n<p>Expect lane closures as the contractor continues work to extend structures and install driveway pipe between SH 64 and I-20. The contract also includes rehabbing the road north of SH 64.<\/p>\n<p>FM 279 Resurfacing Project<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Limits: from FM 858 in Ben Wheeler east to FM 314 in Edom<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Contractor: APAC \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Texas<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Cost: $2.3 million<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Anticipated Completion Date: Later this summer<\/p>\n<p>Cleanup activities continue on this project as does hot mix mill and inlay operations between Edom and Ben Wheeler. Expect lane closures.<\/p>\n<p>FM 1256<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Limits: from FM 316 eastward to SH 19<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Contractor: Longview Bridge and Road, Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Cost: $5.8 million<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Anticipated Completion Date: Fall 2018<\/p>\n<p>Installation of storm water control measures and driveway pipe along with work to extend the structures along the project limits is ongoing. The project is widening almost 8 miles of the roadway. Expect lane closures.<\/p>\n<p>County Roads Bridge Replacement Projects<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Limits: CR 3105 at Crooked Creek, CR 3809 at Negro Creek, CR 4404 at Cream Level Creek, and CR 2908 at Purtis Creek<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Contractor: Stateline Construction, LLC.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Cost: $1.4 million<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2       Anticipated Completion Date: Summer 2017<\/p>\n<p>The contractor is currently installing temporary shoring and backfilling for a temporary detour on CR 3809. Once the detour is completed, the existing bridge will be removed and construction of a new one will begin. No lane closures planned.<\/p>\n<p>WOOD COUNTY \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Mineola Maintenance plans to conduct edge repairs on FM 778, ditch maintenance on SH 37, and base repairs on FM 2966.
