The area can expect a power outage from 10:30pm through 6:00 Wednesday morning. According to a news release from the county, Oncor says the Smith County Elections Office, which is conducting the primary runoff elections, will not be affected. But, as a precaution, the county has brought in a backup generator. Early voting totals were expected to be released shortly after the polls close at 7:00.
