At a meeting in Longview, the panel said they will soon be able to issue $225 million in bonds to expand the toll road from Interstate Highway 20 to U.S. Highway 69 north of Lindale. A committee will be meeting next week with bond houses in New York in preperation for a loan, which includes $60 million to repay the deby to the Texas Department of Transportation.
