Because of lower local and state revenue, Kilgore College trustees voted Monday night to shut down the school&#8217;s child learning center and the 448 acre demonstration farm. The Childhood Center provides early childhood care and education for children from the ages  18 months to 5 years old. It also serves as a learning laboratory for the students enrolled in the Child Development &#038; Education program. In other action, the Kilgore College trustees also consolidated the college&#8217;s continuing education program onto the main campus.
