They are identified as Darrian \u00e2\u20ac\u0153D.J.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d McClintock, 20, of Spring, Texas and Norvontre \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Trey\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Harrison, 19, of Shreveport, Louisiana. The drowning occurred around 3:00 Thursday afternoon in a popular swimming area known locally as the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153clay pits.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d School President Blair Blackburn said at a news conference witnesses say one of the students was having trouble swimming and the other student went to their aid. But both drowned. Their bodies were recovered around 5:30 Thursday afternoon. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>On the school\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s web site, President Blackburn is quoted as saying, &#8220;The ETBU Family lifts up these families, our students, faculty, and staff in prayer.  As a Christ-centered community, we rely on our faith in God and hope in Christ to sustain us during this difficult time.
