School board President Chris Mack told the Longview News Journal Louis Robinett had submitted a letter saying he would resign at the end of the school year. His resignation was scheduled to be discussed by school trustees during Monday night&#8217;s meeting. But, before the meeting started, Robinett withdrew his letter. He wrote in an email to parents and students &#8220;After meeting with district administration, I have decided to resend my resignation. You&#8217;re stuck with me for a while.
