The wreck occurred shortly before 11:15 Monday morning on Farm Road 241. Dead at the scene was Clarice Elizabeth Clayborne, 30, of Rusk. According to the preliminary investigation, she was westbound and exiting a curve to the left in the roadway, the rear of her car started to skid.  The vehicle slid across the eastbound lane and left the south side of the road. The car started to overturn on its left side when it hit a tree.
